A charming hotel with only nine accommodations and a world-class restaurant for a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside

An age-old structure renewed with modern charm, Locanda Sant’Agata is a magical place where tradition and modernity blend harmoniously in an informally elegant, chic style.

Everything at Sant'Agata has been painstakingly structured in order to guarantee a perfect stay, beginning with the verdant surroundings: a century-old plane tree offers shelter from the summer sun to provide a delightful place to enjoy an evening aperitif. The accommodations have been laid out in conformity with the original structures of the estate and equipped with every modern comfort: autonomous climate control, LCD HD TV (min. 32”), and designer furnishings.

As guests of the Michelettis you will enjoy true family hospitality ‒their number one priority is to satisfy your every need and desire.

Nicola, Elisa, Luca, Anna and Silvia are always completely at your disposal for advice on things to do and places to visit. For those seeking relaxation and wellbeing, the Locanda offers discounted rates for the Thermal Baths of Pisa and the swimming pool at Fornace, which is open evenings throughout the year. For the more active, the Locanda offers bicycles for a meandering ride through the countryside, or perhaps along the path leading to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Through an agreement with a riding school in San Rossore National Park, the Locanda also offers its guests the possibility to go horseback riding, English or American style, through the park’s enormous expanse. And for the smallest of our guests, there’s always an exciting pony ride.

Finish up your day with a romantic dinner, during which you can choose the tasting menu to discover the unique cuisine of chef and proprietor Luca Micheletti and the delicacies of local Tuscan produce: Mucco Pisano beef, Cinta Senese pork, truffles, and much more ‒ all organically and locally produced.
